Question:

If you perform Witr, then can you perform Tahajjud

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is permissible to perform Tahajjud after performing Witr Salah.[1]

قال الشيخ علي القاري في شرحه: (وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: (” اجْعَلُوا “) : أَمْرُ نَدْبٍ (مرقاة المفاتيح، باب الوتر)

وَقَدْ ذَهَبَ إِلَيْهِ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ وَجَعَلُوا الْأَمْرَ فِي قَوْلِهِ اجْعَلُوا آخِرَ صَلَاتِكُمْ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وِتْرًا مُخْتَصًّا بِمَنْ أَوْتَرَ آخِرَ اللَّيْلِ (فتح الباري، قَوْلُهُ بَابُ الصَّلَاةِ قَبْلَ الْعِيدِ وَبَعْدَهَا)
