Question:

It is Sunnah to eat on the floor and in certain positions such as sitting with one leg up. Does this apply to females as well?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

The Sunnah methods of eating for men also apply for women.[1]
